Grand Canyon National Park

As a major change of pace, Doug Moore and I visited the Grand Canyon over Thanksgiving in 1986. We backpacked down one of the less-maintained routes, to the Horseshoe Mesa. This is part way down the canyon, so we didn't carry our packs to the bottom, but we did do a dayhike to the bottom.
