Casey Camp, Herman Creek

Casey Camp is a nice camping spot on the Herman Creek Trail, which starts at mile 47 on I84. I did this trip on March 21/22 2008. It's about 4 miles in and 1500 feet up, most of which you gain in the first mile and a half. You are right next to Herman Creek itself, but there are many waterfalls on tributary creeks. I hiked further up the canyon until I reached winter snow - about two miles further. Also up the very steep Casey Creek trail a ways.
