Cooper Spur

North side of Mt. Adams

Cooper Spur is a feature on the north side of Mt. Adams. It makes for a good dayhike. I car camped below at the Cloud Cap campground so I could get an early start. The hike goes up and up, mostly through sandy terrain devoid of much plant life. But it does get you very close to the Elliott Glacier and some very impressive scenery.
