Defiance - Starvation Loop

This strenuous loop hike of about 13 miles gains about 5000 feet. I did it counterclockwise, going up the Defiance Trail and descending the Starvation Ridge Trail, passing Warren Lake on the way, with views of Mts Adams, Rainier and St. Helens near the top. I passed on the side trail to the summit of Mt. Defiance because the radio towers would be a turn-off for me.
