McNeil Point, Mt. Hood

I hiked up to McNeil Point on Mt. Hood via the Top Spur trailhead.

As you round Bald Mountain on the trail, you get a great view of Mt. Hood

Farther up the ridge, the view gets better.

An interesting pond-becoming-meadow

Eventually you leave the Timberline Trail and haed up to McNeil Point itself

There is an old stone shelter at McNeil Point

The moon had just rose over the ridge

The sun was setting on the forest

Mt. Saint Helens at sunset
