Mt. Hamilton

Mt. Hamilton is a good 8 mile loop hike in Beacon Rock State Park on the Washington side of the Columbia River Gorge at about the mile 38 point on State Route 14. The summit is about 2400 feet and you gain about 1700 feet from the trailhead. About one third of the way up are two large waterfalls, Hardy Falls and Rodney Falls, a couple hundred yards apart. I did this dayhike on April 7, 2009.
