Lunch Lake and Seven Lakes Basin

We spent our first night at Lunch Lake, in the Seven Lakes Basin, at about 4450 feet. The side trail leaves the High Divide trail at 4800 feet and quickly drops 400 feet to the lake.

We saw a bear across the canyon a few hundred yards away

The next morning we had to hike back up those 400 feet to the High Divide to continue on our way
