Thailand, part 1 of 2

I visited Thailand for a month in 1989 after spending three months in Nepal. I visited the southern beaches first, focusing on the island of Koh Samui, and then went to the northern highlands.

This is my beach bungalow on Koh Samui. With attached toilet, it cost about $2.50/day.

 

They call this Grandpa Rock.

Many of the smaller islands in the area are uninhabited and part of a marine park.

 

 

 

 

Now we are in Bangkok, visiting many of the spectacular temples.
